How to stop my Acer laptop from automatically updating on Windows 10

The automatic update makes my internet really slow. I just want to stop the automatic update. It annoys me. Help meee 11disabling windows update service will not be effective. W10 home really doesn t allow users to close all the doors about updating. I m using enterprise LTSC in my desktop and it works. Since my laptop is only getting small updates which I still have to see what are they are about I m not too bothered.
